This is a “hole plug” (higlighted in red box) and it’s used to close open mounting spaces in you mounting panel. The hole plug has tabs at top and bottom which secure it in place for monting inside of end, middle, or single panel mounts.

In order to be eligible for a return your product must be unopened and in the same state as when you received it. You must have the item in the original packaging.
